Steven Bates, Ph.D.

PRINCIPAL VISIONEER

Steve Bates, PhD, has a decade of experience as a laboratory informatics business analyst, with expertise in the configuration, documentation, testing, and validation of LIMS and ELN systems. With a background as an academic research bench scientist, he leverages his domain knowledge in biochemistry, molecular biology, and bioengineering, combined with a practical understanding of software development life cycles, to quickly and efficiently capture the needs of scientific users and translate them into requirements for software developers. His approach follows a philosophy of product ownership and UI/UX design, delivering solutions for clients that streamline operations and implement FAIR data principles. He is driven by the knowledge that his work ultimately impacts patients through process improvements in clinical diagnostics, drug discovery, development, and manufacturing.

Tanushree Jaitly, Ph.D.

PRINCIPAL BIOINFORMATICS & PRODUCT VISIONEER

Tanushree Jaitly is a Principal Bioinformatics and Product Visioneer at 20/15 Visioneers with a PhD in Bioinformatics and a background in Next-Generation Sequencing and cancer immunotherapy. She brings together scientific expertise, computational approaches, and product strategy to develop tools that accelerate scientific discovery and decision-making, working at the intersection of bioinformatics, artificial intelligence, and scientific product development to translate complex scientific and biological challenges into practical AI-driven solutions that support research and development organizations.

John Conway

FOUNDER & CHIEF VISIONEER OFFICER

John F. Conway is a scientist, entrepreneur, and strategic advisor with more than 35 years of experience at the intersection of life sciences, data, technology, and R&D operations. He is the founder and Chief Visioneer of 20/15 Visioneers, where he advises scientific organizations on AI and data strategy, laboratory modernization, research reproducibility, informatics, and organizational transformation. John has held senior scientific and technology leadership positions at Merck, GlaxoSmithKline, Accelrys, Schrödinger, LabAnswer, and AstraZeneca. This experience gives him a broad perspective spanning pharmaceutical R&D, scientific software, consulting, and executive strategy. As a founder of multiple ventures, John also brings practical experience building organizations, developing teams, and translating scientific innovation into sustainable business value. He advises startups on establishing scalable scientific operations, making sound data and technology decisions, and preparing for growth in an increasingly AI-enabled environment.

Kerry Robinson, Ph.D.

SENIOR BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT VISIONEER

Dr. Kerry D. Robinson is a Business Development Executive with more than 32 years of experience serving the chemical, life sciences, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, government, and academic research markets. As a leader with 20/15 Visioneers, he helps organizations identify and deliver innovative scientific, technical, and business solutions that support growth, research, and mission success. His expertise includes scientific solutions, laboratory consumables, analytical and laboratory instrumentation, staffing, and consulting services. Throughout his career, Dr. Robinson has built strategic partnerships with federal and state government agencies, academic research institutions, chemical manufacturers, pharmaceutical companies, and biotechnology organizations, consistently delivering value through a collaborative, customer-focused, and solutions-driven approach.

Erin Moran

CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

Erin Moran serves as Chief Operating Officer at 20/15 Visioneers, where she oversees business operations, strategic initiatives, client engagement, and the planning and execution of global conferences. She has been with the company for more than five years and brings a strong background in operations, project management, marketing, and relationship development. Erin holds a bachelor’s degree in Nutritional Sciences from Penn State University.

Stephanie Akerman

MARKETING & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT VISIONEER

Stephanie Akerman is a Business Development and Marketing professional at 20/15 Visioneers, where she connects life science and technology organizations with the company’s consulting, staffing, and AI-driven solutions. She works with industry leaders to identify opportunities, build strategic partnerships, and support business development, event outreach, and marketing initiatives. Through her work, Stephanie helps expand the company’s global network while connecting clients with practical solutions that support innovation, growth, and operational success.

Arti Singh

SENIOR SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY VISIONEER

Arti Singh, MS is a Scientific Data and Digital Health professional with nearly two decades of experience leading AI, genomics, and digital health initiatives. She specializes in product management, data governance, and process improvement within regulated scientific and healthcare environments, bringing expertise in Agile and Lean methodologies alongside deep knowledge of bioinformatics and emerging AI technologies. She is passionate about applying innovative technology to solve complex problems in scientific data and research informatics.

Raminderpal Singh, Ph.D.

GLOBAL HEAD OF AI & GENAI PRACTICE

Raminderpal Singh, Ph.D., is an AI solution architect and entrepreneur who helps scientific R&D organizations move from AI-curious to AI-led. With 20 years of experience in the life sciences, he brings a deep understanding of the industry’s priorities, risks, and resistance to change. His work combines practical software, open-source in silico workflows, and the organizational change needed to support lasting adoption. Through 20/15 Visioneers, Raminderpal helps R&D scientists develop and implement pragmatic, cost-effective AI systems.

Ralph Rivero, Ph.D.

SENIOR PRINCIPAL VISIONEER

Ralph earned a B.S. in Biochemistry from Lehigh University and a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the University of Pennsylvania. He began his drug discovery career as a medicinal chemist at Merck, later leading high-throughput discovery efforts at Johnson & Johnson and holding multiple strategic and leadership roles during more than 20 years at GlaxoSmithKline. His expertise spans synthetic, medicinal, and high-throughput chemistry, structure-based drug design, QSAR, screening, and preclinical development. Ralph has led large cross-functional discovery teams, helped deliver a PI3K-beta inhibitor clinical candidate, contributed to more than 60 publications and 45 patents, and advanced an asset into Phase II clinical trials. Since retiring from GSK in 2019, he has consulted with 20/15 Visioneers and biotechnology companies on drug discovery programs, platform development, and technology implementation.

Kelly Cycon, Ph.D

LIFE SCIENCES DIRECTOR

Kelly Cycon, Ph.D., is a biotechnology leader with more than 20 years of experience bridging science, innovation, and commercialization. As a virologist and scientific strategist, she has helped organizations navigate the path from research discovery to real-world impact by addressing the scientific, operational, and strategic challenges that can slow progress. Her experience spans infectious disease research, diagnostics, laboratory development, and the creation of frameworks that support effective execution and long-term growth. Through 20/15 Visioneers, Kelly helps biotechnology companies connect vision with action, ensuring that innovative science is supported by the strategy, resources, and operational readiness needed to move forward successfully.

Maurina Bignotti

EVENT PLANNING & MARKETING COORDINATOR

Maurina Bignotti is an Event & Marketing Coordinator at 20/15 Visioneers, where she supports the planning, promotion, and execution of conferences, webinars, and industry events across the life sciences and technology sectors. With a background in communications and digital media, she manages event marketing, social media, email campaigns, website content, sponsor coordination, and audience engagement. Michael Leschinsky

Michael Leschinsky is Director of Sales & Talent at 20/15 Visioneers, where he leads business development and talent acquisition across the life sciences, technology, and engineering sectors. With a background in Business Economics, he helps startups and global organizations build strong teams across areas including bioinformatics, data science, AI/ML, software engineering, laboratory informatics, and pharmaceutical R&D. Daniella Prado

COMPUTER & DATA SCIENCE VISIONEER

Daniella Prado is a Computer and Data Scientist at 20/15 Visioneers, where she combines expertise in artificial intelligence, machine learning, cloud technologies, data analytics, and software development with business strategy. Andrew McAllister

FINANCIAL OPERATIONS VISIONEER

Andrew McAllister serves as Head of Financial Operations at 20/15 Visioneers, where he oversees the financial and administrative systems that support the firm’s day-to-day operations and continued growth. With experience in payroll administration, multi-state compliance, government procurement, and vendor management, Andrew brings a detail-oriented and strategic approach to maintaining efficient, compliant processes. Since joining the company in 2024, he has played an important role in strengthening its financial infrastructure and supporting its ability to deliver seamless, client-focused solutions across the life sciences industry.

Fernanda Casanueva

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT VISIONEER

Fernanda serves as European Head of Business Development at 20/15 Visioneers, bringing 18 years of experience in business development, marketing, sales, and strategic partnerships. She works with clients and partners across Europe, Latin America, and the United States to support scientific innovation and business growth. Fernanda also leads the European Paperless Lab Academy, helping connect scientists, technology providers, and industry experts through collaboration, knowledge sharing, and laboratory digitalization.

Susan Roberts

HEAD OF MARKETING

Susan is a marketing and branding leader with more than three decades of experience across biotech software, databases, networking technology, CAD, retail fashion, and consumer electronics. She has also played a key role in several successful startup acquisitions involving companies such as Cisco, Oracle, and EDS. At 20/15 Visioneers, Susan brings deep industry knowledge, creativity, and a genuine enthusiasm for the organization and its mission. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, reading, volunteering in her community, following scientific advances in autism research, spending time with her son Andrew, and proudly embracing her Boston roots.

Anish Vora

ELN CONSULTANT

Anish Vora is an ELN Specialist with more than 22 years of experience in the life sciences and extensive expertise in scientific data management, laboratory workflows, and digital laboratory solutions. He has supported ELN evaluations, implementations, system configuration, testing, training, and administration across platforms including IDBS, Revvity Signals, BIOVIA, Benchling, and Dotmatics. Throughout his career, Anish has worked as a consultant, product manager, business analyst, solution architect, ELN developer, and research scientist, allowing him to connect scientific needs with practical technology solutions that improve efficiency, standardize processes, and make laboratory data more accessible.

John Walzer, Ph.D.

SENIOR CHEMISTRY VISIONEER

John holds a B.S. from UCLA and a Ph.D. from UC Irvine and brings more than 25 years of R&D experience from ExxonMobil Chemical. His work focused on catalyst development, structure-activity relationships, and tailored high-throughput experimentation workflows, contributing to several dozen patents and publications and the development of new products, including lubricants and plastics. After leading the implementation of high-throughput experimentation in polyolefin catalysis, John developed a lasting focus on automated scientific workflows and the intersection of chemistry, data science, engineering, and information technology, while maintaining the practical perspective of a bench scientist.

Andrew Doran

HEAD OF LABORATORY ROBOTIC & PROCESS AUTOMATION

Andrew Doran is a laboratory automation and robotics leader with more than a decade of experience building high-throughput systems across molecular biology, protein science, medicinal chemistry, and clinical testing. At 20/15 Visioneers, he advises clients on automation strategy, platform scalability, lab infrastructure, and workflow integration. With experience across leading automation platforms and organizations ranging from startups to global pharma, Andrew combines strategic insight with hands-on execution to help scientific teams scale efficiently and operate with greater confidence.

Robert Dalgarno

RESEARCH INFORMATICS VISIONEER

Robert is a research informatics and data analytics leader who helps biopharma and research organizations transform scientific and clinical data into actionable insights. His experience spans compliant data ecosystems, including data capture, integration, warehousing, dashboards, and workflow automation, supporting programs from early discovery through clinical reporting. Drawing on experience in biotech R&D, clinical research, and consulting, Robert helps organizations improve data quality, traceability, governance, and usability through fit-for-purpose processes and platforms.
